Some wines you take home to mom.  Others you
take out all night and only tell your buddies.

These are my wines...

Brosseau Vineyard

The Brosseau Vineyard is a beautiful vineyard nestled in the Chalone
AVA tucked below the shadow of the Pinnacles.  Jon and Jan Brosseau
first planted the vineyard in the early eighties and
now manage it with their son Bill.

From the first time I tasted the 04 Loring Brosseau, I
fantasized about getting Brosseau fruit for P2.
Brosseau produces dark, intense Pinot Noir with layers
of bold fruit and earthy tones.

You can imagine my intense excitement when Brian
Loring told me that I would be able to get Brosseau fruit.
I was ecstatic!!

The two tons are a blend of clones 113, 114,115 and Mt. Eden.

Cargasacchi Jalama

Jalama is the second vineyard managed by Peter
Cargasacchi.  It is 16 acres of hand crafted fruit, a
product of Peter's knowledge and passion.
Jalama is located just outside the Sta. Rita Hills AVA
in Santa Barbara County.

Coming into the '06 harvest, I had no idea or hope that I
would ever get fruit from a Cargasacchi vineyard.
Then came a phone call in late August.  Peter was offering
me one ton of this coveted fruit.  I couldn't believe it!
My head was spinning for days.

Just over a ton came into the winery, made up of
clones 114 and Mt. Eden.
